President Trump expects President Zelensky to sign his proposed mineral rights deal. Unconfirmed press reports state that President Trump won’t resume military aid to Ukraine following the signing of the mineral rights deal, and wants Ukraine to capitulate to Russia and President Zelensky to resign. In his latest video message to the Ukrainian public, President Zelensky did not make any mention of his trip to Saudi Arabia and instead thank European countries for renewed military supplies including Germany which is currently expediating the delivery of new anti-air defense systems.
President Trump is pressuring Ukraine to capitulate to Russia and hand over up to $500 billion of mineral rights to the United States on the false pretenses that the US provided up to $350 billion to Ukraine. The US actually provided up to $119 billion in military aid which costs less in actual market value and was not fully delivered. Most of the weapons deliveries which were halted by President Trump were anti-air weapons meant to be used for the defense of Ukrainian cities. President Trump threw a lifeline to the Russian Army just as their frontlines in Prokrovsk and Toretsk began to collapse.
