President Trump cancels anti-drone missiles orders by Ukraine as Russia rains drones and missiles on Ukrainian civilians

In an interview with ABC, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the US has redirected shipments of anti-drone missiles, originally intended for Ukraine, to the Near East instead. Previously, Ukraine made buy orders from the US of up to 20,000 anti-Shahed missiles. The US President recently also announced a weapons sales deal with the United Arab Emirates.

In addition, President Trump recently justified Russia’s airstrikes on Ukrainian civilians after Ukraine destroyed up to a half of Russia’s remaining nuclear strategic bombers.

Russia uses strategic nuclear bombers and Iranian-made Shahed drones to specifically target Ukrainian cities and civilians on a daily basis. Attacks on Ukrainian cities, civilian and infrastructure have increased ever since the US began brokering peace talks between Russia and Ukraine. Ukraine also signed a mineral rights deal with the US which was a major demand by President. The Ukrainians signed the mineral rights deal with the US hoping it would open for them an opportunity to buy US weapons.

President Trump had already cut military aid to Ukraine once resulting in its loss of the city of Sudhza in Kursk. The US President also wants to remove sanctions on Russia and wants Ukraine to capitulate to most of Russia’s demands including ceding lost territory and avoiding joining NATO.

Russia has continued with its barrage of missile and drone attacks during the night against Ukrainian cities with attacks reported against Kyiv and Chernihiv.
