The Deputy-Commander of the illegitimate Libyan army in eastern Libyan, Saddam Haftar, is flexing his visit to Malta via propaganda sources and regime media. The unusual visit featured a very irregular meeting with the disgraced ex-Prime Minister Joseph Muscat.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a curt press release about the meeting, and particularly mentioned discussions about security.
Saddam Haftar was also given a highly unusual red-carpet treatment by the Brigadier of Malta’s Armed Forces, Clinton J. O’Neill.
According to the regime’s propagandists, Saddam Haftar came to Malta on the invitation of the Maltese government.
Saddam Haftar is the son of Khalifa Haftar, who runs a rump and illegal government in Benghazi, eastern Libya. The Haftar regime is also using Malta to launder their funding. Haftar’s illegal regime has also been blackmailing Europe with illegal immigrants.
