Yorgen Fenech is a terrorist who admitted to having commissioned and paid for the murder of a journalist. Yet, he walks in Maltese society as a free citizen.
We had another terrorist who previously walked among our midst and this is Muhammed Al-Musrati (or Lilu l-King), an ex-Libyan warlord who in Malta became a cocaine and hashish trafficker. Lilu l-King is accused of several crimes, including kidnapping and rape, and is currently in prison facing charges.
So far Home Affairs Minister Glenn Bedingfield has made a big show on social media bragging about upholding the law with regard to people living in Malta illegally in addition to being strong on rowdy foreign tourists. On Yorgen Fenech’s verdict, he took the opportunity to hit out at the Opposition Super ONE style.
Yet, the Home Affairs Minister still needs to call a national security council over the fact that a literal terrorist walks free in Maltese society.
This state is a total farce and we are living in a banana republic.
