Malita Investments is currently embroiled in a controversy over a stalled social housing project in Luqa wafter the company…

A cold war between the Inland Revenue Department and the FIAU
The story about a money-laundering millionaire taxman under police investigation giving lectures to the FIAU is undoubtedly hilarious and tragic at the same time – a testament to the Jungle Rules state of affairs that we live in. However, there is a deeper reality in this story. Currently, there is an ongoing cold war between…

Taxmen Marvin Gaerty and Sergio Ebejer are both under police investigation
A small coincidence led me to learn that Sergio Ebejer, a millionaire taxman, is currently under investigation by the police over an FIAU report that posed some questions about his undeclared and unknown wealth. Sergio Ebejer even gave a lecture to the FIAU while he was being investigated by the police. Sergio Ebejer’s close friend…

Taxman Marvin Gaerty was earmarked to join Yorgen Fenech’s mother company
In September 2019 just months before he was arrested, Yorgen Fenech was assembling a team. He planned to organise his mother company, Tumas Group, and grow its balance sheet to the billion-euro level. He was discussing this prospect with Malta International Airport’s CEO, Alan Borg, to whom he offered the CEO position, and also confided…

The lavish life of Technical Director of the Income Tax Department, Sergio Ebejer
One thing leads to another and one quickly gets to learn many things on our small island. Holidaying with the taxman
We all know that the previous taxman, Marvin Gaerty has been to Las Vegas with Christian Borg. Yesterday’s story on this website about Keith Schembri revealing confidential police information to Yorgen Fenech led me to another story of public interest. Keith Schembri’s message to Yorgen Fenech was about a case of a Qatar resident whom…

Covered up by the taxman
I’m very glad Rosianne Cutajar is bragging that the taxman has exculpated her from any wrongdoing over receiving bribes from Yorgen Fenech. One of the characteristics of these criminals is that they are total imbeciles and can’t keep their mouths shut for their own good. So, when Rosianne Cutajar is using the taxman to brag…

The robot-bureaucrat par excellence
Angelo Gafa is slowly revealing his true self as more of his actions give us a better portrayal of his character and principles. Yesterday, it was revealed that when the Standards Commissioner asked the Police Commissioner for the phone messages between Tax Commissioner Marvin Gaerty and Prime Minister, Robert Abela, Gafa gave the Standards Commissioner…
